In the beginning of today’s episode, it is seen that Renu tells Mamata that whatever she has to give, she should give it to Riya and Akash. Mamata blesses Riya and Akash with sagun (good things). Renu takes it too and asks them to take Mamata’s blessing. Mamata blesses, and Paresh exclaims, “It’s not love, it’s like dowry!” Mamata then says, “No, every parent makes jewelry for a girl.” According to Mamata, her elder bahu Roshni, who hails from Dubai, has received a lot of jewellery. Then Renu said, “There was nothing for us to do but get married in general, her father could not come. But he is very rich, he might buy a building for Roshni and give 250 tolas of gold.” Roshni gets worried.

Mamata then asks about Sayali. Renu replies, “We didn’t get anything from Sayali’s house. Instead, we bought jewelry for her and brought it home. And you should know, when Paresh retired, Sayali’s father killed himself.” Paresh immediately protested, “Stop this nonsense!” But Renu doesn’t stop, she explains to everyone, “Sayali’s father couldn’t even give ear-rings for his daughter, they run a flower shop. They bring flowers and rotten fruits.” Sayali could not bear this insult and burst into tears.
Paresh finally says, “That’s enough!” But Renu also says, “I am telling the truth.” Sayali then goes home, closes the door, and cries. Renu later sees Sayali at the temple and asks her to work, but Sayali then bluntly replies, “Am I here just to work?” Renu is surprised and says, “How dare you talk to me like this?” Sayali retorts, “Why? I can talk.”
Amidst such tension Riya comes and asks why Renu is scolding Sayali. “Nothing,” says Renu. But things get worse, Sayali says, “I do all the work and always bear the insults.” Renu says again, “What is your problem?” Sayali now retorted, “What’s wrong with you? I keep quiet, so it’s easy to say whatever you want.”

Roshni comes to support Renu, but Sayali stops her saying, “You won’t say anything about this!” Paresh comes and asks, “What’s going on here?” Sayali cries, “Renu said such things about my father, I can’t bear it. My father’s poverty is my fault, or anyone’s right to insult?”
Renu still didn’t stop. She points to Paresh and says, “You kindly brought Sayali home.” Paresh gets upset, but Renu continues, “Sayali didn’t bring anything, her father is dead, we gave her jewellery.”
Sayali couldn’t bear it anymore and went home and brought all her jewelry. She puts it in front of Renu and says, “If your jewelry is such a big problem, I don’t want anything!” Sachin, Sayali’s husband, was stunned to see this scene. She says, “Renu, when will you stop insulting Sayali like this? She didn’t buy anything with her own money, her father gave it to her!”
Still Sayali refuses to take the jewelry. “These jewels insult me again and again,” she says. Sayali also opens the Mangalsutra by herself. Renu looks surprised, and Sachin is shocked.
