Today’s episode of Kumkum Bhagya begins with a shocking confession from Purvi. She tells everyone that this drama was actually a plan of Diya and her friends. Purvi explains that they had discussed the previous night what to do if her initial plan fails. Then they will decide to make an alternative plan.

A flashback is shown, where Diya asks her friend Kashish to take part in this drama to improve her acting skills. Kashish is hesitant at first, as he is afraid of what will happen if something goes wrong. But Purvi convinces him that this drama is being done to save RV’s honor. There have been big false allegations against RV, which can ruin his life. They decide to prepare a fake pregnancy report, and use that report to stage a drama to reveal the truth.
Jassi, who is involved in this whole incident, becomes even more suspicious. Purvi convinces everyone that this whole plan is to save RV’s honor and the family’s dignity. Then Dadu, Harleen, and the rest of the family members say that they are completely on Purvi’s side.
They all decide together to foil Jassi and Netra’s plan. Harleen says, “If I had known earlier, we would have had a chance to act too.” The whole family gets ready for the play and starts convincing Netra that there is really something between RV and Kashish.

Kashish, through his acting, cries and complains to RV that he is not taking responsibility for his child. RV is a little hesitant at first, but later tells everyone that Kashish’s words are true. He accepts the paternity of his child. Netra and Manisha are shocked by this statement.
RV’s words change the course of the play. Purvi and Diya laugh to themselves, because their plan is moving in the right direction. Then RV tells everyone, “I will never want my child’s mother to be disrespected.”
The rest of the family members express their anger at RV through acting. They say, “You have broken our trust, this act of yours is unacceptable!” But this was all part of the plan.

In the last scene, Dadu dramatically announces, “Our Purvi will sit in the mandap instead of Kashish.” Jassi is shocked by this announcement. And then Netra gets angry and attacks Kashish. But Kashish has also prepared his resistance.
The drama will get more complicated in the upcoming episode. Will Netra and Jassi do anything against this plan? Will RV and Purvi’s love have a new ending?
