Today’s episode of Anupama serial starts with Anupama asking a deep question. She tells Baa, “Earlier, when your knees hurt, I used to massage them with oil. Tell me, when you couldn’t sleep at night due to pain, who used to rub your feet? Who repeatedly makes salads, soups, and juices for Ishu? Who makes fashionable handmade danglers for girls? Who helps Kinjal in the kitchen every morning so that she doesn’t get late for office? When Toshu calls for tea with a headache, who makes it? When Ansh works at night, who makes hot chocolate for him? Who takes care of all of you?”
Anupama Written Update 2nd December 2024 :
She asks Dolly, “Who gives you medicine on time?” Then Anupama says, “Who looks after Babuji’s medicine, glasses, and hearing aid? You all think Mahi doesn’t do anything, but Mahi does everything. I don’t ask her to do it, but she does it. Because this is my family, and Mahi sacrifices her life for my family. You can’t appreciate her work. Even if you want to pay for her work, you can’t. What Mahi has done, none of you can do.”
Tears welled up in Anupama’s eyes as she said this. “Mahi has filled the void in my life that was created after Chhoti left. One daughter has been my pain, another my balm. Without Mahi, I would have broken down. I will not be able to repay her debt even in ten births for what she has done for me. I have not done her any good as her mother, but she has blessed me as my daughter. Even if I want to give my life for her, it will still be less.”
Mahi came forward and hugged Anupama. At this emotional moment, Rahi, with tears in her eyes, clapped her hands and said, “Classic! Today your heart has come out. You talk about Rahi all the time, but you have given space to Mahi in your heart.” Anupama replied in a calm voice, “A mother’s heart does not become small, so that only one child gets space.”

But Rahi does not stop easily. She asks in a stern voice, “So tell me, mother, if the time comes when you have to choose between two daughters, who will you choose? Rahi or Mahi?” The others also want to know together.
Anupama puts her hand in her ear and says, “Don’t ask such questions!” But Rahi is adamant on her question. “What will you choose? Your adopted daughter or your foster daughter?” Anupama says in one breath, “Mahi.”
Everyone is stunned to hear this. Mahi gets emotional. Rahi says sadly, “I knew it. Still I asked. You have always chosen others, not me. You have never chosen Choti, Adya, or Rahi. You will never take another birth.”
Anupama stops Rahi and says, “Don’t say such things. You have asked at the wrong time. You are my daughter, I love you very much. But when you left, I lost my daughter and Mahi lost her mother. Mahi kept me close then. I didn’t keep him, rather he kept me. His love, his care… I can’t ignore these. But that doesn’t reduce my love for you.”
Rahi says in an angry voice, “I will repay you till then, then I will leave from here. Then you and Mahi can live happily.” Anupama tries to calm her down. “One wrong decision ruins a person’s entire life. Think about it.” Rahi leaves from there. Mahi and Rahi look at each other.
