Prem notices this change in her and comes forward, questioning Rahi for hitting Anupama. But Rahi reverts to a darker form, calling Anupama a “bad mother”. Prem wants to understand, wants to make her understand—mother is not just a mother, but much more than that. But the secret wounds in Rahi’s heart will not be erased so easily. She informs Prem that one day she will settle all her scores with Anupama.

Rahi returns home, where a worried Anupama is waiting. She just says, “Don’t stay out too late.” But Rahi doesn’t reply, instead rejecting Anupama’s pity completely. At that moment, Anupama’s patience breaks. She asks Rahi, “Why so much hate?” In response to this question, Rahi pours out all the anger in her heart—does Anupama blame her for Dimple’s death, even calls the police on her?

Rahi’s complaints don’t stop, she says, Anupama didn’t let her meet Anuj. Rahi’s grief and anger deepened with every word. “I never put the blame on you, Rahi,” Anupama tries to explain in a calm tone. But Rahi withdraws. “If you have to apologize, give me back my childhood. Or give Anuj back,” she demanded. Anupama was stunned hearing this request, tears of pain in her eyes.
