In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKKH), we see the Goenka family going through a deep emotional turmoil. Manish, the head of the family, is suffering from guilt over his wrong decisions. Especially, the pain of not being there for Akshara and Abhi during their difficult times has driven him crazy. He tells Swarna that he feels like a failed father. He believes that his actions have ruined not only Akshara and Abhi, but also Arohi and the entire family. Swarna tries to calm him down, but Manish has only one thought in his mind, “I have made a mistake that I have no power to correct.” He is consumed by the intense regret of throwing Akshara out of the house.
In this situation, Abhira tries to convince Manish that there is no point in blaming herself for the past. “Fate is out of our hands,” Abhira tells him. She promises to rebuild this family, to bring Abhi back at any cost. Although Manish doubts whether Abhi will come back so easily?
Abhi’s suffering is the center of the entire story. He feels neglected, hurt. He asks his mother arrogantly, “Have you forgotten me? Have you forgotten me by having another child?” Abhi believes that Akshara has forgotten him and moved on to a new life. This anger has pushed him away not only from Akshara, but from the entire Goenka family.

His protest is so deep that he refuses to stay inside the house. He decides to lie down in the garden. When the guard tries to stop him, Arjun comes and stops him. He says that he is the owner of the house, and Abhi will do whatever he wants. Arjun tries to convince Abhi, “Your family loves you.” But Abhi makes it clear that his relationship is over.
YRKKH 4th December 2024 Written Update:
A new problem arises in the family when Ruhi refuses to help Abhir. Ruhi clearly says, “My mother died because of you.” This bitterness breaks Abhi’s heart. Ruhi’s harsh treatment makes Abhi even more lonely.
People outside the family also come forward with their own comments. Especially Sanjay, who hits Akshara with old mistakes. He says, “Your marriage, hiding the child—these decisions have ruined everything.” However, Abhira’s friends Charu and Krish firmly support her. Akshara says that she will manage the family on her own and will not listen to outsiders.
On the other hand, Arjun is hiding a secret. Even as Rohit pressures him to reveal the truth, Arjun is asking for time. Will this secret truth create a new storm in the tension in the Goenka relationship?
Every chapter of this story is a mix of sadness, pride and hope. Abhira knows that these are difficult times. But she believes that Abhir will return one day. The dream she has for her family will come true. Until then, she will keep fighting.
