Yrkkh written update 17 July 2024 and Spoilers

At the beginning of today’s episode of YRKKH, we see Armaan and Abhira discussing their marriage. Armaan breaks down in despair as his Dadi refuses to allow their marriage. He thinks they have to wait the rest of their lives. Abhira reassures him and says they won’t give up.
They talk about their love and faith in each other. Abhira reminds Armaan how much they have overcome and they can do this too. She assures him that his Dadi will eventually agree.
But Armaan is still unsure. He fears that if he gets married without listening to his Dadi, it will create more problems in the family. Abhira tells him that they will fight for their love and won’t let anyone take away their happiness.

The tension builds in this scene when Abhira proposes to Armaan. She tells him that she cannot live without him and that they must get married soon. Armaan feels overwhelmed and agrees. However, their happiness does not last long. Dadi overhears their conversation and gets angry.
In the next scene we see Vidya banging Abhira and telling her that she wants her rights. She requests Abhira to take Armaan away from them. Abhira, who is deeply infatuated with Armaan, refuses to leave Vidya. This scene breaks Ruhi, who has been in love with Armaan for a long time. Vidya then convinces Abhira that marriage does not mean only a girl losing her identity. She says that Abhira will always be a part of her family, even after marriage.
Abhira is impressed by Vidya’s words and decides to prioritize her family’s happiness over Armaan’s. Vidya thanks her and assures her that they will always be there for each other.
In the next scene, we see that Dadi is very sad and angry. Monisha reads tarot cards and foresees some ominous events in future. She goes to see Dadi, but leaves immediately.
Sanjay then apologizes to Dadi. He says he was scared so he didn’t tell Dadi about his mistake. Dadi gets angry and says that Armaan realized his love for Abhira because of Sanjay’s mistake. She also scolds Sanjay for not taking Abhira to court.
Dadi also says that if Armaan had married Ruhi, they would have had to show their faces in the society. But it didn’t happen because of Sanjay. Dadi accuses Sanjay that he is ruining the family and that Madhav did not tell her anything while she was in the hospital.
Dadi gets more frustrated as everyone is on Abhira’s side. She feels that everyone has abandoned her and is left alone.
The scene then changes and we see Armaan and Abhira walking towards Dadi holding hands. Ruhi and others are also with them. Armaan tells Dadi that they have chosen her and wants to marry Abhira. Abhira also says that they won’t get married without Dadi’s permission.
Everyone requests Dadi to consent to their marriage. But Dadi did not agree.
